A closer look

Colorful Wooden Bird Perches

Straight cylindrical perches have a colored, visibly textured outer surface and a threaded metal fitting at one end. A washer and wing nut are shown for attachment to cage bars, with several bright colors pictured.

At a glance

Wood and alloy are listed.
One-piece size options: 1.5 × 20 cm, 2 × 25 cm or 2.5 × 30 cm.
Threaded end fitting, washer and wing nut, as pictured.
The textured coating composition and color-selection method are not specified.

Choosing a perch arrangement

Check the perch thickness and mounting fit for your bird and cage. Offer a variety of appropriate perch shapes and diameters, and confirm the surface is suitable for your bird’s feet. A textured perch should not be the only or highest resting perch; inspect the surface and remove it if it becomes damaged.
